Volunteering

• Hearing "volunteer opportunity" probably makes a small part of your soul hide in the pantry. We get it. But we're not a folding-table-and-clipboard operation (all the time). We're chaos-positive, snack-motivated, and not judging anyone's skill set. 

Not sure what you're good at? Quick guide:

• Like being in charge? Committees want you.
• Embarrassing Pinterest boards? Come craft with us.
• Own a truck or anything with a trunk? Hi new best friend.
• Prefer small groups? Setup crews and welcome teams.
• Love full chaos? Fall Fest is calling.
• Want to stay behind the scenes? Plenty of quiet jobs, no mic required.
• Have 20 free minutes and functioning hands? You're in.  

What it actually looks like:

One event, a few hours cutting paper stars, handing out juice boxes, hauling stuff in your truck, or sitting on a committee having opinions. Not a second job. Not a lifetime commitment. Do a little or a lot; it all helps. 

The committees, decoded:

• Programming - makes the fun ideas happen
• Communications - newsletter nerds and word people
• Fundraising - helps bring in dollars to support the school. It's not as scary as it sounds!
• Welcome Committee & Volunteers - makes new families feel at home
• Hands-On/Setup - the doers and truck owners

Because school's better when parents show up, events are more fun with more hands, and you'll make real friends along the way.
